If you’re a regular reader of my blog you will know that last month my little box hit the UK and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the 1st one which you can find here and was their ‘My Little Parisienne Box’ to find out what I got in it go check out the post. This months didn’t disappoint either and was created in partnership with non other than Diane Von Furstenberg a world renowned style icon since the 70’s the creator of the wrap dress that so many women know and love and an all round superwoman who believes that a woman is beautiful, intelligent and should like herself be an ardent feminist. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the wrap dress she teamed up with Little Box to create their 1st designer box because she loves what they stand for and the fun innovative concept. so the box … Lets begin.
When opening the box you’re greeted with a card this one even better than the last with the caption “be the woman you want to be!” a real punchy quote that i think is a great thing to put in a frame and mount because looking at that in the morning will really give you the push to go an get your dreams.
This is a lovely little bold red lip brooch, A logo for Diane’s brand, it originally came from a magazine interview she did in 1976 and after that the made them in black and white too. this is such an elegant and timeless style and could be worn at any age so who says brooches are for the older ladies!
Every month you get some beauty goodies in the box too and this months made me grin like a cheshire cat. An own branded My Little beauty Micellaire Solution, a lover of my bioderma sensibio h20 this is a welcome addition as I only ever use them to take off my makeup (no wipes here). Next I got the Kerastase Laque Noire, a hairspray, but better because its a anti-humidity one. A lover of the brand already I have yet to give this a go but it will be great when I go away next month in the evenings as my hair and humidity creates an unruly mess. Last up is another favourite brand of mine and is a mini L’occitane vanilla bouquet handcream, it has a thicker texture to most hand creams which makes it ultra hydrating and nourishing so a little goes a long way. It also smells lovely, not to strong but still sweet. This will be a perfect handbag addition as I moisturise my hands a lot this will be one for when its so cold and my hands are feeling it too.
Lastly packaged in a large envelop was a printed scarf, to own something from Dian von Furstenberg makes me happy and this print is one of 15,000 in her archives. I got the black one which I love as I think it makes it more wearable for me with most outfits, but it can be a scarf, headband even a bag the possibilities are endless.
Inside is a little extra a 20%off giftcard so I think I will have to go and brows her websites … you never know I could soon be owning my own DVF wrap dress too!
Have you got on the my little box bandwagon yet?
