Why I Am Loving Aurelia Probiotic Bodycare

Aurelia body careIf you have been reading my blog for a while now you may have seen my review where I was trying out Aurelia probiotic skincare I was new to the brand and was doing a little light reading to find out more of them. To give you some background if you haven’t head of them or read my post on the skincare Aurelia was established in 2013 and has since become stocked on sites like Cult Beauty and Feelunique.

They are described as a brand as being “incredibly passionate about providing women with revolutionary, next generation probiotic technology and combining this with ethically sourced 100% BioOrganic botanical formulations. Protect against skin ageing, regenerate cell metabolism, prevent cellular DNA damage and boost your collagen synthesis” . Their products protect cells making the skin not only look and feel good but work deep down in the skin to really rejuvenate and keep your skin at it’s best. I loved the skincare and found it to be perfect while traveling. However I didn’t know they also did body care and when I was kindly sent some bits to try I was really excited to try, especially a body cleanser.

I was really excited to give this a go, it is classed as a body wash but it is creamy and luxurious. It is sulphate-free and helps to naturally restore the skins natural balance. It really works paired with the body serum as it helps to hydrate and replenish, meaning your skin doesn’t feel tight or irritated at all. The amount of goodness packed into this bottle is very impressive to name a few of it’s key ingredients; Vitamin E, Omega, anti-oxidants to purify it also has Aloe Vera to soothe and essential oils to really cocoon you in the scent while showering. I must say the scent is beautiful, it is exotic and rich and really does engulf you and allow you to feel like the weeks stress is almost melting away.

The creamy texture is helped by natural coconut to create a silky lather, paired with the scent of Geranium, a delicate floral note to lighten the mood, layered with sweet Clementine oil, uplifting Mandarin to relieve stress and tension while the powerful Rosemary element helps focus the mind. A real way to feel like you’re putting a whole lot of goodness back into your body and in such an easy way, just by having your daily shower. It is on the pricer side at £32 but if you’re looking for a little indulgence then the Aurelia Restorative Cream Body Cleanser* is for you, it is suitable for all skin types and made right here, as is the whole brand in the UK.

The perfect accompaniment to the cleanser is the Aurelia Firm and Replenish Body Serum* which retails at £48. It is really nourishing on the skin and really hydrates and lifts the skin all while cocooning it in the same incredible scent. It is really versatile and is suitable for all skin types including mummy’s to be made without a long list of questionable ingredients, including sulphates, parabens, mineral oils and MI to name only a few. Using them together gives the best results but you could use this alone and I find it great to sue after the gym and I feel it really revitalises and engulfs you in all the lovely scents and feelings after a hard workout.

I am aware these are both at the higher end of the market, however I am really becoming and advocate for spending a little more too really be happy and get the results your body needs and deserves. Things like this can be overlooked and I too did this for ages focusing on my face and hair but not really taking much thought onto what I was on the rest of my skin. With both you’ll find a little goes a long way meaning you are getting your money’s worth because the product has longevity instead of buying one half the price twice as often.
