Have you heard of this product or even this brand ? If not you need to and there is good readon why. Today’s post is on HealGel Face* and its amazing results. In the blogging world they are making their way onto everyone’s wishlist and a few weeks back after tweeting about the brand they very kindly offered me the chance to give one of their products a go.
HealGel is a UK brand and was created by a team of leading plastic surgeons alongside a dermatologist, no there is no nip and tuck needed here its a lovely product aimed to replenish, repair and rejuvenate your skin. They have four products in their range – HealGel Face, Intensive, Eye and their newest addition Body. I picked the face and let me tell you I didn’t expect the bottle to be the size it is, its huge and a little goes a long way when applying. I use the size of a 10p to cover my whole face and that’s ample I do that once in the morning after my normal skin care routine and again in the evening. I tend to apply a little more to the zones I want to target, to help reduce my scars and redness I apply in my t-zone this is where my cystic spots appear and I want to try an minimize the damage done when they heal.
Although this is called HealGel it is more of a cream when you pump it out but on application it feels like a gel, its rather cleaver. I don’t know what the others smell like but this one the ‘pink’ one smells of rosewater and I love it ! For spring is a fresh yet comforting smell.
The product contains something that I tend to use when I bruise but in tablet form it has arnica which helps the skin repair itself faster and on my face I have really seen a difference. This is not a spot cream so don’t expect to apply it to a spot and it be gone but for redness, scaring, dry and damaged skin even fine lines and wrinkles it works wonders.
It says it tightens the skin, I don’t feel for me it did that but I defiantly brightens my skin. The product is not oily and absorbs well, it leaves your face feeling as though you have a primer on which is nice. If you don’t know what I mean when I say that, I mean that lovely silky feeling erasing your pores and just generally feeling soft and ready for the day.
They cram so many useful ingredients into this cream that the befits are endless you get your well know collagen to plum and omega 3 to help hydrate. For me I want to give the whole range a try and see if the Intensive will help me get rid of my pesky stretch marks. I never thought I would be a fan of a face cream as much as I am of this I can tell a difference as soon as I apply it, which is what you want. Also strangely I like that it has an advanced anti ageing formula, I may only be 20 edging towards 21 but my skin is showing signs of wear its not dewy and teenage like any more and though right now wrinkles are not an issue I want to start now to help prevent them inhabiting my face any sooner than expected.
You can find the full range of products on the HealGel website www.healgel.co.uk this product is priced at £48 for a 50ml bottle.
