As you may have seen in some previous posts I took full advantage of Escentual’s 1/3 off French pharmacy in march. This is the second from last product I have form that mini haul to post about. But this out of the bunch of stuff is probably my least favourite product.
Now don’t get me wrong this is not a bad product but if you already use the Nuxe Reve De Miel Honey lip balm then this sadly does not cut it. in my book I brought this on the assumption that it would do the same kind of thing. Although there’s not as much honey in this stick like my trusty new fave it would do basically the same job it had sunflower, argan, macadamia oils along with the shea butter honey, barley extract and lots of vitamins it would be as good but on the go. I don’t like to carry around the glass pot in my bag so I thought ooo a stick version perfect.
So my true thoughts are its good its very much like Vaseline this one it doesn’t last a long amount of time and the drinking from a cup test left if very faintly on my lips. The sick as you can see below is clear unlike the pot. It stopped my lips from being chapped but no more than any other chapstick type product.
This cost me just over £3 which isn’t bad at all, its now back to £5.50 on the website which I wouldn’t pay for this however I don’t mind it being in my bag, its handy for when I cant wear a lipstick or a gloss as my darn lips are hating me. I have managed to take a huge chunk out of the top now, I luckily got a picture before. I put the lid on and screwed it down at the same time by accident and a big shaving of it came off which I was slightly annoyed about.
If you don’t want to get the slightly more pricey Honey lip balm which I would highly recommend and you just want a little handbag extra then this is for you. You can wear this all year round as its clear and it doesn’t look like you have anything on which is a plus.
This stick does what it says it moisturises but it doesn’t wow unfortunately.
