A while back I was having my normal weekly breakdown about my stretch marks. Now please do not tell me I don’t have them I do know i’m not over weight but I have in the last 3 years put on too fast much causing what I can only describe as looking like tiger has left its big old claw marks on my inner thighs. Last May I had 1 then 1 more and now I have 10/15 big purple streaks on each thigh that just won’t fade to a silver white. I am working out and along with this and a slow improvement is happening but it is naturally slower than I had hoped.
I headed to trusty old twitter to find an answer from other bloggers about what I should use Charli who blogs at www.rosecharli.blogspot.co.uk recommended this to me. I had never even heard of the brand but i was up for trying anything because nothing was working and after reading her review (can be found here) I went straight over and ordered myself a glass vile of wonder. It cost me £6.25 and arrived in 2 days which was super speedy in my opinion as i ordered late at night.
I have used every thing, creams oils and every lotion and potion know to man. Charli said she saw improvements in just weeks and I haven’t seen drastic life affirming stretch mark curing results but they are fading out.
What Betty says about her Wonder Oil
‘A highly versatile and great smelling ‘award winning’ moisturising oil. Apply to any dry or problem areas of skin including wrinkles around the eyes. This gorgeous oil can help tackle signs of psoriasis, eczema, stretch marks, sun burn, wrinkles and pigmentation’
This is a little roller ball device and the oil comes out easily surprisingly after everyday evening use I am only a quarter of the way through my bottle. Although leaving it on its side it did leak a bit in my draw so word of advice … keep it up right!! After my bath or shower when my skin is still warm I roll this on and massage into my rather large scar like stretch marks, they look like my skin has torn and they always seem to pop up when I think they are going, I get another. Like I said they have not gone but they have faded to a more lilac shade rather than a deep purple that was clearly visible I now notice them a lot less which in turn makes me worry a lot less.
This naurally good product smells fresh and like it has no nasties in, if that makes any real sense it doesn’t have a chemical smell to it which can easily put me off. Made with things such as Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Oil, Vitamin E & Jojoba Oil along with some other good oils and bits you know all the good stuff you get a little of in most product well this product is all of them good ones rolled into one. From body butter to hand creams the Betty Hula range is growing and they can be used on baby skin too so you know tis stuff is safe.
I’m not sure I will feel beach ready just yet but this oils is defiantly helping re build my body confidence one step at a time. Voted and loved by many big brands and magazines I recommend you give this a go if you have some problem patches you need a helping hand sorting out this summer.
