The days are getting longer and the sun is out a bit more which I think makes every blogger happy! Today though I have another reason to get excited for the warmer weather with the Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts. I was kindly sent three from the range Summer of Love – Bronzer*, Goddess of Love – Highlighter* and Blushing Hearts – Blusher* all of these are from the I ♡ Makeup range and all are a 3D trio of shades in the shape of a heart all are really pigmented and shimmery so see what i think of each individually below.
This is the Summer of Love Triple Baked Bronzer, there are 3 in the range this is the only one with a mix of shades and is called the Hot Summer of Love the other two are sing shades. This is new for 2015 and comes in a gold, taupe and bronze shade so you can decide on intensity if you prefer. I personally don’t normally go for bronzers with shimmer in as I feel they don’t often work for my face to well. However I used makeup revolutions Golden Sugar Blush & Contour palette whilst on holiday and one of the shades was slightly shimmery and it really worked I gently swirled my brush and glided it over the skin and it gave a lovely healthy glow. I think this will have the same effect so i’m keep this one for the summer when I have a tan.
For 2015 they have added 3 new trios into the range and this is the Peachy Pink Kisses Triple Baked Blusher. I like a highlighting blush especially on days when i’m rushing and still want to give the impression i’ve made an effort, this is perfect. I prefer peachy shades to pink shades as I feely they suite my skin better as I have a more yellowish skin tone. Again they are really pigmented but lot goes a long way so I swirl my brush and tap of any excess as the shimmer can become a bit to disco if you apply too much.
Now last but not least Goddess of Love in Goddess of Faith is a subtle shimmery rose gold. Yes its blooming rose gold! Oh my oh my its fuelling my obsession I wish the packing was rose gold too but thats just me wanting all the rose gold. Shall I say rose gold just one more time! This is great to highlight the cheek bones again a little goes a long way and its better to start small and build as the pigmentation can make you look a little tin man like if you apply to much too fast.
All of theses will be great with a tan and I will be taking them away with me in the summer. Each range looks the same a coloured lid with a gold base the shade is written on the back. My issue with theses is storage they are really bulky which is a good thing as you get more product but does mean i need to have a re arrange to fit them into my makeup stash. They are also really affordable at only £4.99 each! and there really is a shade to suit everyone which is nice.
Have you tried any of this range? What is your favourite Makeup Revolution product?
