On Sunday here in the Uk it was mothers day (also my dads birthday) and we headed out for dinner. I still am not doing well with food and ended up having more surgery the day before boooo! However this year bar the fact is was my mums first mothers day as a nan she also got some extra treats on top of the bits me my brother and sister showered her with.
This post is about to showcase and thank my beautiful mum and Bonmarche helped this happen, a few weeks back they contacted me asking if I would like my mum to take part in their ‘Pretty in Prints’ campaign where I could pick a dress from their dress collection to surprise her with along with a little box of goodies. We already had a meal planned at Piccolinos in Virginia Waters so it was the perfect occasion for her to get dressed up a little and feel glamourous.
Now I want to confess a little something and that was that I had a bit of a stereotype when i though of Bonmarche and that was my nan and all I can do is say I was so wrong. They have such a lovely range of stuff for any lady looking for flattering dresses there was so much choice and my mum is now even taking this dress on holiday as its so comfortable. This is the Tribal Print Maxi* and retails at a very affordable £30 it also comes in regular and long leg lengths which makes it really flexible for ladies of any height. My mum styled this with a Coast angora cropped cardigan and some Rowland Cartier Heels.
I think she looks blooming lovely and I want to thank her for everything she has done for me especially how supportive she has been with all my hospital shenanigans she really deserved a treat and below you can see a few of the other bits she was kindly sent. They must know she has a slight obsession with Hotel Chocolat
So thank you to Bonmarche for spoiling my mum this Mothers Day! What did you get your mum for mothers day or any special woman to you?
