In life many things make me happy and having clear skin is defiantly one of them. So when I was offered the chance to try out some new releases form a brand I love I couldn’t say no. Vichy is a brand I love and so does my mum ALOT! So giving the new Fresh Cleansing Gel* and Beautifying Micellar Oil* from the Purete Thermale range a go was a no brainer for myself. The range is enriched with thermal spar water too and is a whole cleansing and makeup removal range suitable for sensitive skin.
Fresh Cleansing Gel* – I will start of with my thoughts on this but I warn you this whole review is a good one! I love gel cleansers especially ones that foam. I feel like if I see it all foaming its getting deep into the skin and working. It works deep in to the pores to remove pollution particles to leave the skin fresh and clear, its great for morning and evening use and I have been enjoying pairing this with my Clinique Sonic System Cleansing Brush that I reviewed earlier this week. It help also with excess sebum which I get especially, causing some cystic spots to appear occasionally from having very combination skin. It lives up to all its claims and I feel my skin looks radiant after use. It smells fresh too although it has a soapy scent it reminds me of that after shower feel when your on holiday? Anyone know what I mean there…
Vichy Beautifying Micellar Oil* – Oh hello, I love micellar water so a micellar oil? Ever since I could get my hands on Bioderma Sensibio H20 I have used it religiously as its fantastic but its one downfall is the use of cotton pads. This however is a lot more simple and works just as well, you pump 2/3 pumps of the oil into your hands and massage your face removing all your makeup as you go even waterproof mascara and my brows which have some staying power. Its needs only a few drops of water or a damp face already to get going and wow it works. Its gentle and you can apply pressure as you wish as your not rubbing with a pad. It transforms from oil to a milk texture when water is added and its safe on the eyes and it makes my skin feel amazing!
I wont cut out my Bioderma as sometimes its just easier to grab, but these both are staying firmly in my routine and have become staples of my everyday skincare regime. The rest of the range also looks amazing and if you prefer traditional micellar water they have a 3in1 option too a long with lots of other fantastic looking products so I think I may be racking up a big old Vichy wish list.
Have you tried anything from this range or from Vichy before?
