A few weeks back I had an email ping into my inbox letting me know that unfortunately due to a production problem this months My Little Box may be a bit delayed. However considering it is normally due by the 20th of each month it happened to be only 2 days late so no biggie there at all. This months theme is French Riviera the perfect way to get you dreaming on boating on the ocean in the french summer sun, a girl can dream right!
I love letting my hair blow in the salty breeze while the waves gently rock the boat and splash the sides. The smell and views make me feel calm and at one with myself an the world. The ocean is so vast it puts everything into perspective and lets your really reflect.
The first thing is spotted in this months box was a lovely pair of Sarah Lavoine x Sunglasses (£18) Exclusively designed for this box they have a retro look and matte finish. I love the style and tinted lens, however not the best quality but super easy to grab and go on or for in the car. They come with a lovely cleaner cloth too but I do with they had a little drawstring bag to house them.
As always you get your bag full of beauty bits of course featuring known brands and something My Little Beauty branded. This month my box contained;
My Little Beauty – Sea Salt Fresh Scrub (£8.50) – Perfect for that pre holiday prep is this cute exfoliator. I love the packaging and tube design, rather that a tub you have to scoop product out of. This makes it a lot more travel handy. Made from Guérande sea salt cristals and Ajonc water it gets to work exfoliating and refreshing your skin, it also smells like the sea!
Sarah Lavoine Nail Polish in Vernis A Ongles (£6.50) – A teal blue polish? I have worn one before but I never know how I feel towards blue polish for some reason my though is they suit brunettes more… This is the designer (same lady who did the glasses) favourite blue. I like teal and don’t feel its an intrusive colour and fitting for a calming riviera theme.
Keratase Keratine Thermique Blow-Dry Care for Unruly Hair (£19.50 for full size) – This is my favourite product in this months box! My hair is certainly unruly its fluffy and frizzy if I leave it. This is claiming it can tame all my frizz. I love Keratase and their shampoo sample I got did wonders for my mane. This if it works should leave my hair anxiety behind and give my hair a shiny glaze with no split ends in sight, good for everyday and holidays.
In this box was also a planter duo designed by Kanako (£6.50) They were super hard to photo but you put pots inside and they hid anything ugly looking. these are made to house plants and now your makeup brushes too. I like my brush storage so may stick with the plant idea but you know.
