When I was asked if I would like to be one of the first to try a new kind of monthly subscription box, my attention was instantly had but when I found out it was a monthly stationary box well oh my. The notebook and pen hoarder in me shone through so when the first YooHoo Mail Box* landed on my door matt lets just say I was pretty much like a kid at christmas.
I had no inkling to what may be inside or how much as I decided to look at the website www.yoohoohq.co.uk after I had looked at the contents of Octobers box… Impressed is what I am there was instantly a smile on my face because it was a mix of stuff I had never really expected.
In the october box I received:
-
6 Greetings Cards
-
6 Brightly coloured co-ordinating envelopes
-
1 A4 Art Print
-
1 A5 Art Print
-
3 Postcards
-
1 x A4 Planner
-
1 x A4 To Do List
I am a card girl through and through I will spend more on cards at christmas than anything else. I love picking quirky and individual cards that say something about a person and who they are. I have already been putting these too good use and sent my brother in law one of the birthday cards. however the ‘Hoppy Birthday’ and ‘if you like Pina Coladas’ cards are two of my favourite things in the box and now i am unsure if I can part with them!
The postcards are adorable and could easily be used in frames which is what I am planning to do with this Smile A4 print. Me and Jonny are house hunting and I already have a few bits to go in frames to create a miss-match of artwork in black white and metallics so this will fit into that collage of creativity perfectly.
This though may be my favourite piece in the box this A5 print is so uplifting its great to keep or to frame and give to someone. It’s such a simple but helpful quote to look at when you need a little pick me up and receiving stuff like this makes me smile and feel good.
I love these boxes and they can easily be a treat for you of a gift to someone else at £12 + £2 p&p (or £5 internationally) yes you can get this worldwide its great there is also a deal where if you sign up to the 3 month sub you have no postage fees. It popped through my letter box when I wasn’t in so no need to hang around and panic if you out.
What I really love is that is is created by one person Gemma a graphic designer and she does this herself, everything is designed and made by her which I think personally is pretty darn amazing!
Also Bloggers & Vloggers you can also buy art prints that well may suit you down to a tee so be sure to go and take a peek at them too.
