Sometimes you just have to treat yourself, right? RIGHT indeed! Back in June I treated myself to these beauties and this post has been sat waiting for me to type up my thoughts for months but truth be told I just couldn’t bring myself to use them for ages and only just started using them…. I know but my Bobbi Brown ones just had done me justice for so long. Though I now have fallen deeply in love with my Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set.
I think I paid about £53 though they now retail at £65 for my set which contains 8 brushes and the handy and very lovely matching pouch to house them in. This clutch is perfect to travel with and means they don’t just get dirty in your makeup bag. This set contains from top to bottom:
106 – Powder – To apply loose or pressed powder
120 – Silk Finish – To apply and blend foundation
110 – Face Shape – To contour with cream and powder products
142 – Concealer/Buffer – To apply and blend concealer
127 – Luxe Sheer Cheek – To apply powder blush/bronzer
227 – Luxe Soft Definer – Softly blend and smooth eyeliner
231 – Luxe Petit Crease – Blending and accentuating in the crease
317 – Wing Liner – Detailed eyeliner and the perfect wing.
This set has literally changed the way I apply my makeup, the brushes are so soft and really good quality every single one is the same none are better than the others, it really makes a difference and I can finally say my Bobbi Browns have gone to makeup brush heaven. They wash really well and dry out nicely and fluffy no stiff bristles after a clean which I hate. Some are natural and some synthetic but it’s really hard to tell and I really don’t think it makes a difference with these. I haven’t had change to use the wing brush yet but that is the only one and that’s because you may know I am a bit of an eyeline-aphobe as I apply it like a child, in fact worse I would say more like a cat. the dark brown with rose gold contrast is really elegant and luxurious. These are perfect to treat yourself or as a gift and they will last. So if you do one thing in 2016 its buy these as you won’t regret it.
Do you own any Zoeva Brushes? If not what is your go to brand for brushes?
