It’s funny, when I think of Natural Collection I think of being a teenager and for most British girls who came to experience makeup in the early-mid 2000’s it’s a brand that probably would of been one of their first to start their collection.
For me the brand disappeared as I grew and after my orange face stage it was well in the past and to be honest I hadn’t had it in the forefront of my mind at all, a brand I would still see in the isles of boots but never really head to any more. But why? These days I love the less is more style in the summer especially giving a sublet glow, a little lift and yet still covering any ‘flaws’ I feel my skin currently is showing, be that a little red patch, a spot or just a bit unevenness in my skin tone. When a darling little box with so lovely products arrived from the team at boots I knew my love that I once had for the 25+ year old brand was coming back and the flame was reignited.
They do say never judge a book by it’s cover and that known line sums this brand up! Considering EVERYTHING yes you heard me right, is priced at £1.99!
As a base first up is the Natural Collection Tinted Moisturiser* I got sent natural which for my summer skin is a little too light but it does come in 2 other colours, fair and beige. I still used it on my t-zone and under eyes and just a little to get a slight coverage. I then used the Natural Collection Pressed Powder* in neutral. It allowed my t-zone that often can become slightly oily throughout the day covered and by keeping it in my bag as an on the go product was handy to use to touch up throughout the day.
Honestly these two are probably my least favourite of the stuff sent but thats mainly because the base products I use tend to be firm favourites that I know, love and use a lot these are good for their price and on the go but not makeup bag game gangers.
The three other products sent to me were the Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks* in Pink Cloud, while it looks like a rathe pinky bright pink on the cheeks it is really inoffensive and gives a warmness to the cheeks when used with the Natural Collection Suntint Bronzer* in Golden Glow gives the most perfect beachy look to your skin with a warmth and slight glow that kind where you look really summery and where you skin looks happy if that is even a description but we will go with that because I know what I mean.
To be honest this quite often underrated and overlooked brand is now appealing to the girl it originally introduced to makeup again it’s never tried to be something it’s not and has stuck to it ‘natural’ namesake. It is one I would really recommend if you’re looking for something high-street which is good quality for price and will never be too much.
What do you think of Natural Collection? Is it a brand you tried and may go back to, or have just always loved?

Wow this takes me back! I like you haven’t really looked at them in recent years but these sound great and especially at such an amazing price.

I’ve never used that much natural collection. I think essence cosmetics is the best budget brand.
