Another year has flown by, where did 2017 go? I mean it feels like only last week I was tapping away writing up my 2016 gift guide for her. When I wrote that I was still living at home and in a job I didn’t like much… now we own a house and have a fantastic job and am surrounded by amazing people. A good way to end the year I think! If you’re anything like me you’ll want to give a little back to those you love so here are some of my favourite picks for her this Christmas. Check back on Wednesday to get some ideas for him too, you won’t want to miss some of the gems.
Aspinal of London Travel Collection – £175
If you’re looking to start big and gift something for the lover of traveling in style why not go for this Aspinal of London Travel Collection set. It is £175 but it is a gift that lasts, it is stylish and can be used time and time again. It comes in an array of colours, mine is deer saffiano and you get free embossing too. It contains 2 luggage tags, a passport cover and the most handy travel wallet with slots for your money tickets and any other of that important paperwork you need on your travels.
Wild & Wolf 746 Copper Telephone – £65
Amara living sent this Wild & Wolf 746 Copper Telephone* to me and it is a key focal point in my house. People love it and while yes it does work when plugged in as a home phone it also makes fantastic decoration. It is retro but has a modern feel to it meaning it works well in many settings. Any copper lover like me would love this as a gift. It is also ideal for blogger photos so if you wanted to add this to your list too, I wouldn’t blame you
Dower & Hall Oswald McHoot 2017 Christmas Tree Decoration – £15
I love these 2017 tree decorations from Dower & Hall, this years edition is Oswald McHoot the Owl*. I think this is a really sentimental gift, births, weddings first homes etc. all theses things happen and add up to making that year special and theres are nice keepsake gifts to remind you of an event in the year that can perch on your tree. You can still buy the previous years, meaning you can go all the way back to 1998 and have one for every year since thats 21 decorations yo could adorn your tree with.
Veuve Clicquot Rose – £36
Buy it for Christmas, pop it on NYE. I always love receiving champagne and giving it too, it is easy buy also elegant… Who doesn’t like Veuve eh? I have mine sat on my bar cart, looking cute and when we have a get-together in the fridge it goes ready to celebrate. This is the perfect gift for the girls or even couples.
Phillips Satinelle Wet & Dry Epilator – £102.50
Woah, this gift is a gooden! It is on the pricey side but the Phillips Satinelle Wet & Dry Epilator* it is worth it, I am writing up a full post on this because it is just too good not to share with you every little feature. If laser removal isn’t your thing but you’re still after silky smooth skin then this is 100% for you. It has multiple heads for multiple functions but it is suitable for legs, body and face including underarms, bikini area and upper lip in or out of shower. So versatile and worth the investment, oh and did i mention is is rose gold? It currently has over 50% off on Phillips too reduced from £220 to £102.50
Bronnley England Eclectic Elements – £10 to £35
If you saw my post on finding your signature scents for autumn and winter you will know that Bronnley are killing the game and just smashing serious scents that will have you swooning. I couldn’t not pop them in my gift guide because 1. they are incredibly luxe and 2. that luxe label does not come with the luxe price tag. You could easily treat someone to the whole range of their favour scent and come in at under £100. Make sure to read my post on Bronnley England to find out which scent would suit.
Ted Baker Gift Set – £4 – £50
I have the Ted Baker Bouquet Cosmetic Collection which was Boots star buy for £22.50 a few weeks ago. This one flew off the shelves, however Ted Baker gift sets have gone up in the world. Most don their rose gold packaging and have such a luxurious feel to them. These are a versatile gift and work for so many women and young girls too. Right now the Ted Baker Porcelain Rose Set is the Star Buy at Boots and is £25 instead of £50.
Jewellerybox 9ct Gold Engraved Pendant on Chain – From £45
I love getting Jewellery bits from Jewellerybox, the are affordable and good quality. I have forever been buying studs from here for myself and as gifts and this 9ct Gold Engraved Round Pendant* is just perfect to give to someone you love this Christmas. It is dainty and delicate and anything engraved gives it that personal touch.
Also if would like to order some bits then please use the code XMAS20 for 20% off your order.
Jo Malone Wild Fig & Cassis Candle (engraved) – £45
One of my all time favourite scents from Jo Malone is now Wild Fig & Cassis. It is the perfect winter scent for me, it is sweet with woody undertones. I also love the fact that you can get these engraved too, mine has a lovely Christmas message which makes this a great keepsake candle where the user can re-use after burning. It is also different to the normal go to scents from Jo Malone so make sure you sniff this one and see what you think.
No7 Rose Gold Illuminated Mirror – £19.99
Ahh, lordy! My trust illuminated mirror when kaput and when I went into store they had a rose gold one now too. I love when they are on offer at Boots around Christmas as these things will change any ladies life so for me it is of upmost importance to buy one for anyone you love. Eyebrow plucking is a dream with this bad boy and they look elegant sat on the dresser too.
Armarni Si Perfume – £44.20 – £102
I think Armarni Si may be the most romantic scent ever. It is right up there for me with YSL Black Opium which I reviewed back in 2015, it is one that lingers and has people really say ‘gosh, you smell nice’. Perfume is a classic gift to buy at Christmas so please make it a good one as it is such an easy one to go wrong with too. You won’t regret getting this for her, it is so unique and one of the scents that is timeless.
So there you have it, a 2017 gift guide for her. Please do let me know if you end up buying any of my top picks or if you have a gift guide yourself, I would love to check it out.
