Oh Molton Brown, how do you do it? How do you create such divine scents and bottle them because their new Suede Orris range is just so delightful. When they emailed to say it was kindly being gifted to me I did a little happy dance inside as I had read rave review and, well all I can say to you is just be prepared to get a little speedy because this is going to transport you to summer sunsets in the Tuscan hills.
A few years back I reviewed the Molton Brown Gingerlilly range which was a real transitional and aromatic scent. This however for me is spring all the way to autumn because it is so light, soft and has a wonderful powdery element to it. The Tuscan orris just makes me so excited to be surround by it at my wedding (if we do decide on Tuscany of course) the cedarwood and patchouli really just elevate and allows it to envelop you.
I went away this weekend and straight away packed the 50ml version of the Suede Orris Eau du Toilette (£45). Even though it isn’t an Eau du Parfum it is still really long lasting and the scent is strong. In terms of the shower gel and body lotion set (£48) these are going into my bathroom pronto! I love having Molton Brown as a bathroom staple for when we have guests, especially as it’s such a nice thing when we have people stay that they can feel like they are getting a little luxury which is exactly what these are. Also something pretty cool is that this range features the brands first ever hair mist, which I would love to try as I don’t think I have ever used one, have you?
I would say though that this range is one of their more feminine, if you’re after something for the guys I would recommend the Tobacco Absolute range it is so heady it just engulfs the room which I adore. If you’re looking for something that you can both share the Orange and Bergamot line is the perfect unisex choice.
What is you’re favourite Molton Brown scent?
*Molton Brown kindly sent this to me however I was under no obligation to post or share.
