In my last #BritishBloggerSelection post I spoke about my favourite make up brands one of the two being YSL and here are a few cheeky buys I’ve picked up from YSL in the last few weeks.
First is my trusty long term friend my Touche Éclat Radiant Touch in 1. This is a re purchase and it’s the best and only corrector/highlighter I use constantly, it has such an amazing application and stays so well. It has a button push at the bottom to bring the corrector to the nib so you don’t use too much. Its true a little goes a long way this is best for under eyes and around my nose to mask black bags and redness.
This too is a re purchase although I’ve not used this for a year or so. As I wanted to try out different brands to adventure a bit. But as my Touche Éclat and this came as a duo in the DWF sale at my mums work I couldn’t say no to my beloved eh. It is the False Lash Effect in 1 which is their high intensity black. I love that the bottom half of the mascara tube is rose gold. I am a sucker for rose gold anything. I love that this mascara is simple yet effective its not gimmicky with its look or claims. The brush is simple but wow it’s effective it creates the best lashes. Much like Benefit they’re real yet it does not pull out my eye lashes when trying to remove it like they’re real did.
NOW FOR MY NEW LOVE
AHHHH look at it its so pretty in it’s ombre glass bottle. The Youth Liberator Foundation has been on my wishlist for months. So when Christmas shopping a few weeks back I opted to treat myself. Now it has been raved about by pretty much every blogger.. and now I’m going to join in on that rant of how ridiculously brilliant this product is. This is shade B30 Beige it has got a yellow undertone which I like and want because pink tones turn me orange. Their range of shades is limited and they have picked their most popular shades for this foundation. It’s got such a lovely feel being a serum foundation and gives you such a glow and radiance. The lady at the YSL counter in boots did my whole face and I was thrilled. It’s thick so some may not like it but I do its not cakey it’s just right. Another big plush its SPF20 ! I have not opened mine yet as I am just finishing of my pot or RMK foundation and don’t want to waste it. I would suggest trying it before you buy if you are unsure as at £34 its not cheap and you don’t want to splurge on something that’s not for you.
I will be doing another review in January probably once I’ve been wearing it for a while to give you all an update.
