Pixi Beauty, the brand that sends the best and most thoughtful PR Samples! A couple of weeks ago I popped home to find this waiting from me from Pixi and while there has been no obligation for me to post. I have loved the brand for so long and their skincare that I had to give you a first impressions post (although some of these products I have used or am using now) on their 9 steps to rosey skin this spring, yes I said spring! It is finally round the corner and I couldn’t be happier for lighter days and less layers.
Arriving in a handy travel case that will be coming with me to Spain next month as it includes a little shower hanger and is just darn handy, inside 9 products from Pixi Beauty’s rose-infused range (that just like every Pixi product is not tested on animals) to indulge you in a ultimate skincare routine. So what’s inside? Okay Okay…
1. Remove any makeup with Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths (£10)
Okay so I haven’t used makeup wipes in a long time favouring re-suable but I did often find in the Philippines that if we were on a trip that these type of wipes were super handy. These are also great for a bit of a lazy day, or afetr a night out when if a am honest there are occasions when I could do with reaching for one of these.
2. Cleanse your skin with the Rose Cream Cleanser (£18)
This is a new one for me and one I wanted to use straight away! With rose, avocado, camomile and aloe extract to name a few it is thick and soothing and kind to the skin. After two weeks of use I can feel my skin becoming softer which is nice especially around the tops of my cheeks. A small 10p size amount is perfect and I wash off with luke warm water
3. Tone with the Rose Tonic (£10)
Confession I own 8 Pixi tonics now! 3 of them this Rose Tonic and it is darn good! It is perfect to help hydrate and balance out any impurities in the skin. It can be used in the morning and evening and really helps your skin look it’s best naturally.
4. Hydrate the skin with Rose Caviar Essence (£26)
Another I already use is the Rose Caviar Essence. As someone with very dry skin this helps me a lot as some skincare can dry me out. The natural oils in this hydrate and give immediate and long term radiance and keep the skin looking supple and fresh. Don’t rub this in too much, I think it is better when the skin just absorbs it.
5. Boost with the Rose Flash Balm (£26)
Out of everything this product for me is the best value it is a 3-in-1 and I have using this regularly for months. It can be used as a moisturise, primer or even a mask and boy it’s darn good and smells delicious. If you buy any of this buy this!
6. Moisturise with Rose Ceramide Cream (£24)
This is a new product and I’ve not tried it yet. This is a really thick rich cream designed to deeply hydrate and fight those everyday skin aggressors. It is supposed to absorb quickly and and help skins elasticity.
7. Nourish with Rose Oil Blend (£26)
Most excited to try is this product! It has 5 star reviews and I hope it lives up to the hype. This luxe ultra-nourising oil is supposed to make you glow and this is what I need. As we come into spring and also when i am away I don’t wear makeup so skincare and having bare face ready skin is important and I hope this is my little bottle of wonder.
8. Set your makeup with Makeup Fixing Mist (£16)
Once your skin is prepped it is time to move onto the steps of keeping your makeup look fresh (if you wear makeup of course). I have used other setting sprays over the years and none have wowed me so next night out I will be really putting this to the test to see because having my makeup sit in fine lines and pores is a big no no for me and I hope this helps avoid that. You can also use mid day to help give your makeup a little refresh which I really like the idea of.
9. Glow with the Rose Glow Mist (£16)
Another new one that has multiple uses with 7 essential flower oils it can be used before makeup to calm and smooth, after makeup to add a dewy fresh finish or just whenever you feel to refresh and plump the skin a real handbag wonder this one I think.
