Sada Boots c/o Duo Boots*
Heres something you haven’t seen before you can probably guess why because Im not the best at this whole posing for fashion photos but here is a fashion post from me it will likely be my last too lol. I was contacted a little while ago by DUO Boots asking if I would like to take part in the #MyDUO Style Campaign unfortunately this was my first time out since my operation as they arrived after I had been prodded and poked around so I only managed one look as going out and about is not really something I can do easily right now.
Before these I had seen duo boots and was eyeing up a very beautiful pair of grey over the knee babies but I have some of them in my rather extensive shoe collection. I opted to choose the Sada ankle boots they are a real biker style boot which is something I have wanted to try for a while but never knew if I could pull them off.
They are made of a grainy yet soft leather that doesn’t have that stiffness that can case dreaded rubbing. The insole is cushioned and the sole is sturdy and at a mid-height it give the perfect stable base you want from a boot. They are a casual boot that give a bit of masculinity to any outfit and in the summer i will be wearing them with cute dresses and a chunky knit. This was my second outfit idea but it ended in a trip to a&e for me instead and I don’t think they would have gone with a hospital gown, though you never know I could be a trendsetter with that.
I paired them with a simple relaxed look of a plain grey tee (Forever 21) black skinny jeans (River Island) and a leather biker jacket (Michael Kors) to create a great and simple either work or weekend look and is a look you can always fall back on.
Theses boots retail at £145 and I know that may seem like a lot but they are a pair of shoes that will be a wardrobe staple as they are such high quality and will get even better with age. As the leather becomes more worn and distressed they will keep on giving year after year.
Have you got some DUO shoes in your wardrobe? Or are you lusting after any?
