I realize I’ve not had a BirchBox post for a good few months, being at uni the postie was terrible so I still got them delivered at home so by the time I got them I felt a review was a bit to late on also I had a bit of trouble with March and Aprils boxes going missing but that all got sorted thanks to the BirchBox team. I was a bit worried this month would be the same scenario but nope it arrived super fast and jam packed with amazing stuff.
This month is an exclusive Harpers Bazaar edition and its stunning to say the least its so bright and summery and features pretty peacocks on the box. The theme is ‘Great Outdoors’ so where better to take my photos than back home in the sunshine.
Oh hello Aromatherapy Associates Bath and Shower Oil, I do own about 20 of these as I got a set for Christmas and then went and got myself some too. They are so dinky and cute I never use them in the shower as I love them in the bath. Instead of a bubble bath or a bomb theses are lovely and relaxing. This one is‘ Revive Morning’ so I may give this a go as a shower oil instead, the fact its grapefruit smelling too had me at hello. (Full size RRP £39)
Again another great product in this months box its brilliant brands galore. Now I have a little apology to make to this mascara a while ago I declared me love hate relationship with it. The results it gives are amazing it fans out the lashes unlike any other mascara but it did used to pull out at least 2/3 of my lashes every day and I was starting to think they looked sparse so I stopped using it. My YSL one had gone all nasty at the end and I needed something that day and all I had at uni in a drawer was this OK its fine now because I love it now I can get it off with my Bioderma Sensibilo and I am grateful for the extra as a little holiday travel essential. (Full Size RRP £19.50)
These are probably my least favourite products in this months box I like that you get the duo and not just one or the other so you can use them together. This is the third time I’ve received something from this brand and I think the brand just doesn’t do it for me.They don’t give my hair what I really want and although they smell super good and are a brand with lots of benefits nothing has given me what I want. I think for my hair type they aren’t right but for some people these will be a godsend. (Full Size £14 each)
Oooo this is possibly my favourite product this month the box makes me swoon and feel special and all expensive . This is a new brand called Soinge they are a brand I’ve not heard of so seeing this in my box got me intrigued. The packaging inside as well as out is special encased in two bits of foam is the polish with little finger holes to pull it out of its ‘cocoon’. The colour is called Persimmon to me its a bright orange and will look perfect with a tan. This is also a full size and is worth the subscription price at £11.
This months box just got better and better and yes its a cult favourite. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser reached a milestone and a half racking up over 100 awards. Now I don’t live under a rock but I have never actually tried it, everyone and their mum raves about this and I just for some reason never bought it and I cant really tell you why. So when I saw it presented in its tissue paper and with the cleansing cloth to go with I squealed I will be using this today as my skin is hating me a bit and I cant wait to see what results it gives me. (Prices start at £13.50)
What did you think of this months BirchBox ? If you don’t subscribe its £10 + £2.95p&p per month.
