A little while back I was lucky enough to be sent HealGel Face so when they asked me if i would like to give the HealGel Eye* (£32.00) a try I couldn’t say no.
I loved everything about HealGel Face and have since repurchased it, and still use it daily before my moisturiser or if I need it at night. This is no different and I feel it may be another product that will keep working for me forever. Don’t be mad or shocked at me but I never really had a need for eye cream before, well I probably did but I had never used one properly on a daily basis, a cooling one every now and again or one to take down my big puffy black bags that are clearly from my lack of sleep although I nap like a cat.
So let me fill you in again with who HealGel are: They are a UK brand and their products are created by leading British plastic and cosmetic surgeons. They wanted to bring to the market a product that works for you without the nip and tuck and drastic measures. All of their products soothe, repair and protect your skin.
HealGel eye does all of the above, it has a lovely lavender small where as the face one has a rose smell both remind me of sweets. Nothing too strong and overpowering just a subtle hint which is something I really like. I don’t have fine lines but I feel this takes down the puffiness and redness of my eyes. It doesn’t do much for my dark circles but then I think that may just be the way my eyes have always been. I use this under my make up at the same time I use the face cream before my moisturiser. This too contains my life long friend arnica it is the best thing and I have used it for healing bruises and cuts all my life thanks mum 🙂 . It keeps moisture locked in by using duel action hyaluronic acid and Light diffusers in the gel further improves areas for a brightening and smoothing effect.
This is perfect for the summer it doesn’t weight down your skin in any way and absorbs almost instantly, its smooth and has a velvety texture which is nice especially on the eye area as its the most delicate area on your face. It applies like a gel but has the texture of a cream all while being very cooling which is lovely when applied in the morning and helps to refresh and awaken your eyes. I would recommend trying this if your looking for a product that goes a long way and does what it says on the bottle.
