I am extending Rest & Relaxation week and there will be one more on Wednesday to make it a complete package because I couldn’t miss out some essentials from this amazing brand so keep an eye out for then too. But first the penultimate post is on this beauty.. This is the Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Massage & Body Oil* (£41). Now currently I cant use this as a body oil as with my cuts I am keeping to basic with baby lotion and nothing to scented or heavy
But my muscles in my back and shoulders are taking a huge hit! I was inflated with a lot of gas for them to be able to do the surgery and once I was awake the trapped gas was casing so much pain in my shoulders my skin was popping like bubble wrap and it was agony more pain that the surgery.
So I cant tell you what its like as a full boy oil but I have had a lovely shoulder and back massage with this. The level of moisturisation this gives is amazing, a little goes a long way but it is really easy to work into the skin without leaving any residue on top of the skin. Winning an award for ant-ageing it really shows how good this product can be for the skin.
I love the design of this bottle its sturdy and made of as always high quality frosted style glass. What really impressed me was the pump it comes with, this made it so much easier to get the right amount of products out, which with a open bottle you can often end up pouring too much.
The scent is light and is like a bunch of roses with undertones of neroli and notes of evening primrose oil. It was never too much for me. I’m not sure I would feel the same if this was used on my whole body but I can’t give that verdict just yet. I have been pairing this with the de-stress muscle gel which I wrote about here which has been giving them time to ease off and me a little while off feeling like a statue.
