So some of you may know last Thursday I went in for major surgery a ‘fundoplication’ to be precise and since then lets just say its not been a fun journey. So this week I want to focus on Rest & Relaxation on my blog and some things that I have been using to help me feel a little less slug like all three posts will be focusing on one of my favourite brands Aromatherapy Associates as for me I find they give me everything I am looking for when looking to recuperate. All of them i have been testing out for a while but have taken full advantage of them now to put them to the test and I can say they are defiantly game changers,
So to start its all about getting into the mindset and chilling out with this Aromatherapy Associates Joy Candle* I have been saving this as I knew it would be an ideal pick me up candle. Its a large and sturdy candle incased in a luxury teal box with a ribbon pull tab to open the drawer. Its is a multi wick candle candle so burning time is impressive and comes in at over 42 hours. The frosted glass is the backdrop to the signature gold logo and the neutral wax makes it the perfect candle for any room being clean, simple and elegant all in one. Hand poured here in the UK and made with the highest quality soy wax and unbleached cotton wicks it screams up market from the outset.
A combination of rose and ginger its spicy and fresh in scent which is warming and comforting which is something that when I am feeling a little down is I crave. What I like about this also is while i’m slouching in my Pj’s, feeling sorry for my ill self this adds that touch of luxury to my day. I can place this anywhere in the house and feel better and more uplifted instantly and although candles just have that effect on me I think this one seems a little more special. At £45 it doesn’t break the bank either for such a large candle it also doubles as a decorative pice and would look great as a feature on any coffee table. This is no longer available on the UK site but is on sale for a reduced price at some other stockists which means you can snap up a bargain here you can get it for £21 (no longer available)!
Have you ever tried Aromatherapy Associates? What do you use to make yourself feel better?
