We’re on the road again… and its that time of the month once more when the post man drops off a lovely surprise themed My Little Box on my doorstep. I wasn’t as wowed by lasts months My Little French Riviera Box (that you can read about by clicking the link). It was OK but it was a bit hit and miss I loved the Kerastase Keratine Thermale but this month I was looking for something that had a whole lot of handy stuff that I would generally get some use out of. So you can imagine how happy I was when this themed box came, with my holiday fast approaching its one to get you started on the journey.
As you know its always a mix of beauty and lifestyle bits and this months beauty goods are all something I feel happy with and really like I have got my money’s worth.
Essie Nail Varnish in Brazilliant £3.99 – A lover for years of Essie polishes I am always happy to receive a new shade from them to add tom my collection and this orange shade is perfect form summer, especially on holiday. It has a very subtle shimmer to it as well which just glistens in the light. As always I can’t fault the formula but if you are after a brand with similar staying power but cheaper I really highly recommend W7 polishes.
Travel Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water £1.33 – (currently £1 at Boots) – First I had Bioderma then then I moved to Garnier to be a little more purse friendly and since then I have never looked back! I love the minis but have never purchased one and normally just put some from my full bottle into a travel container. At this price though the are so handy and the size will easily last me up to 3 weeks using it every day. It is kind to sensitive skin and eyes which is a win win!
My Little Beauty Sorbet D’Eté Gelée Apres Soleil £9 – What a delicious little tube! It is a lovely small body sorbet that to me small like those fizzer sweets you had as a kid. I love putting body sorbets in the fridge and applying after a day of being in the sunshine so this on holiday will be great. It will calm and also hydrate not to mention make you smell good enough to eat.
Gold Metallic Tattoos £3.50 – I do like the whole metallic tattoo trend but I haven’t worn a temp tattoo since school in the 90’s. Others can really pull them off but I don’t really channel that boho chic vibe so I don’t know if I can pull them off… I may try though see if I can act all hip and festival.
Ready to Send Postcard & Pen £4.90 – Cute looking and I love the illustration but will I use it for its intended purpose? No lets be realistic here! It’s meant so you write down all your holiday memories inside and you then send it to someone to share them. I will probably just put it in my bag as a handy little pad that doesn’t take up room where I can jot down anything I need to urgently remember.
My Little Travel Organiser £10.50 – Now this will be coming in handy on my upcoming florida trip. I look after mine and Jonny’s travel bits as I wont let him be in charge of important documents as he’s a bit of a worry sometimes poor thing. I would usually pick up a little zip lock pocket and carry it all but this has the same purpose but looks a little more fancy. Compartmented and with a zip pocket its small and can fold up easily and is great so you can keep everything together and get to it fast. Massive bravo to My Little Box for this one.
So all in all I think they have upped their game again and gone back in my good books in terms of pleasing me. I know they can’t please everyone every single month but this has just reinstated to me why I moved from your normal beauty boxes to this wonder.
What do you think of this months box? Are you taking any trips soon?
